The South 9th Street Italian Market runs along 9th Street from Wharton to Fitzwater Streets in Philadelphia. It is easily accessible by car, public transportation or walking.
The market is open seven days a week, year-round. *Please note: some of the food stall vendors and stores take Monday a s a day of rest. However, the majority of businesses remain open and Monday is a great day to avoid large crowds.
The market is within minutes of major highway and bridge exits into Philadelphia, such as:
- I-95: Columbus Boulevard exit;
- Ben Franklin Bridge: 8th Street or Vine Street exits;
- Schuylkill Expressway: 8th Street exit; and
- Walt Whitman Bridge: 7th Street exit.
